Sandy discovered yoga 22 years ago as a way to heal a sports injury, but what she experienced was far more profound. Yoga not only mended her body, but it taught her grace,  patience and discipline. Every class was an opportunity to explore and shed the layers, and every teacher had a different gift to share.  This transformative journey led Sandy to become a certified yoga teacher in 2011, and she has completed over 500 hours of training (Barkan Method, Vinyasa, JOGA, Yin) and vows to always be a student.   

Sandy has a playful teaching approach that integrates mindful and functional movement with breath.   She aims to create a balanced and nurturing space for every student. Whether you're seeking relief from physical discomfort or looking to explore a deeper connection with yourself, Sandy's classes offer a path to greater well-being and self-discovery. 

When not at the studio, Sandy can be found in her garden, sharing a meal with friends, or on the trails with her pup, Leonard.
